Judge Lloyd Brooks Associate Judge, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois
Originally appointed in December 2018, Judge Lloyd Brooks is currently assigned to the Chancery Division's Mortgage Foreclosure Section, where he presides over disputes between property owners and mortgage companies. Previously, Judge Brooks served in the Domestic Relations Division, hearing various matters such as Dissolution of Marriage, Allocation of Parental Responsibilities, and Parentage. Prior to that role, he was assigned to the First Municipal District, handling cases involving traffic violations, evictions, premises liability, debt collection, and personal injury. Throughout his career, he has conducted numerous evidentiary hearings and trials, contributing significantly to the judicial process. Learn more.
