About

The mission of the Association of Foreclosure and Consumer Protection Attorneys (AFCPA) is to elevate professional standards of practice for attorneys who work in the areas of foreclosure defense, consumer fraud, fair debt collection, and other related consumer protection areas.  AFCPA does this in part by using a members-only list-serve to promote the exchange of ideas and arguments, notify members of changes in the law, and provide valuable professional feedback.  AFCPA also promotes guidelines for effective representation of clients by holding monthly member meetings and offering relevant continuing legal education seminars and programs on a regular basis.  In addition to elevating standards of practice, AFCPA provides a listing for each member attorney on its "Find a Lawyer" page where consumers can be sure to find experienced and knowledgeable attorneys who can help them in a time of crisis.
